Terms and Conditions

General

All goods remain the property of Select Scales Limited (hereinafter called “The Supplier”) until paid for by “The Customer” in full.

Any damage, defect or shortages in supply of goods must be notified to the Supplier within 48 hours of receipt.  Any claims submitted after this period will only be considered at the discretion of the Supplier.

Any new goods supplied are covered by a 12 month “back to base” warranty i.e. defective goods must be returned, at the expense of the Customer, to the Supplier for exchange or repair.

Payment terms are 30 days monthly account i.e. invoices raised by the Supplier in Month One should be settled in full by the end of Month Two.

Hire

Goods supplied on hire are done so at the Customer’s risk.  Any losses or damage caused whilst on hire will be charged for in full. Goods must be available for return or collection at the end of the agreed hire period.  If not available they will be subject to a further hire charge until they become so.

Software

Software will be supplied to the specification agreed between Select Scales Limited and the Customer subject to any demonstration and / or trial versions will be provided for acceptance and any modifications requested after this acceptance will be chargeable.

Intellectual Property rights will belong to the supplier.  Software is provided “as is” and Select Scales Limited grants no warranties expressed or implied – It is the responsibility of the Customer to test the software and ensure it satisfies all requirements.  Select Scales Limited will not be liable for any damages including any accidental or consequential damages arising out of use or failure of the software.  It is the responsibility of the Customer to put in place contingency plans and systems.

WEEE Regulations

As part of our Terms and Conditions the Customer will be responsible for all disposal obligations under the WEEE Regulations.
